MONDOLE' SKI
Artesina is a beautiful ski resort in the province of Cuneo, part of the Mondolè Ski area that includes Frabosa and Pratonevoso.
With its 60 km of slopes ideal for all levels of skiing ability and abundant, long-lasting snowfall, it attracts many skiers from lower Piedmont and Liguria.
Fun fact: The origin of the name comes from the Piedmontese term for rhododendrons, “Artesin,” used to characterize valleys in the Mondovi area.
Not to be missed: the regular, gentle slope of Pian della Turra, which is part of the Durand Peak and can offer you unparalleled views of the northwest Alpine arc.
