We are located in Cairo Montenotte, in the heart of the Ligurian hinterland, in
\nproncia of Savona. A short distance from both the sea, the mountains and
\nfrom the Alta Langa.<\/p>\n

Today it is the main center of the Bormida valley around which gravitates a
\npopulation of about 30000 people.<\/p>\n

Cairo Montenotte is also known for being the birthplace of the
\nItalian patriot and writer Giuseppe Cesare Abba.<\/p>\n

In the municipal territory there are present and preserved two sites of interest
\ncommunity, in the first the fora consists of the presence of the
\nLigurian saffron, while among the animal species we find the knight
\nof Italy, the cuckoo hawk, the hen harrier and the lapwing. The second site,
\nat the Adelasia Nature Reserve, sees the presence of
\norchids and the cerrosughera; among the animals are the fume crayfish,
\ncarabid beetles and the greater horseshoe.<\/p>\n

Other natural sites in the area include the Montenotte Woods, the Grotto
\ndegli Olmi and the Piana di Rocchetta Cairo wildlife oasis.<\/p>\n

Cairo Montenotte is also home to the Ferrania Film Museum, a museum of
\nindustrial and territorial culture that is housed in the Scarampi Palace and is
\ndedicated to the FILM\/Ferrania\/3M company, once a manufacturer of
